Welcome to the new Graduate School Weekly Digest. This publication contains news and information of broad interest to the UMBC Graduate School community. The Digest will be sent out weekly, and submissions would be appreciated by noon on Mondays. Our goal is to consolidate the vast and various kinds of communications that come from the Graduate School into one easy-to-read and easy-to-navigate source. Each ‘headline’ is a link that takes you to an article where you will find more information about the subject including date, place, time and contact information. We hope the move to this format will lighten the load in your email in-box, while providing you with all the news and announcements that you require. Please bear with us as we transition to this new ‘culture of communication’.
