PROF-it: Addressing Hidden Challenges in Teaching (12/6)

A Panel Discussion on Teaching Experience

Prepare for the unexpected.  Discover hidden challenges that occur during the teaching experience.

Postdocs and graduate students are invited to this seminar, where a panel of current and past Teaching Fellows and Community College Faculty share what they wished they knew before entering the classroom.

This is a brown bag seminar. Please bring your lunch with you.

Students who are interested in being nominated for the UMBC/CCBC $2000 Teaching Fellows program should be participating in the Blackboard Community group for PROF-it. If you are not on the list,
please speak to Dr. Judith Pollack at Friday’s seminar. You can also join the group on your own by going to Blackboard, clicking “Communities”, and typing “PROF-it” into the  “Organization Search” box in the left column.

You may attend the seminar regardless of your interest in the CCBC program. You do not have to be a TA to attend.

Friday, 12/6/13, 12:00 – 2:00 pm, Commons 329
