Connect! Recharge! Reduce isolation!
Facilitator: Dr. Renetta Tull
Come out and join us at the PROMISE Spring Opening meeting. This meeting will particularly provide support for graduate students from diverse backgrounds. Students from backgrounds such as African-American, Hispanic, American Indian, Alaska Native, Pacific Islander, and Native Hawaiian are statistically underrepresented in graduate school. The Spring Opening Meeting provides underrepresented graduate students with an opportunity to meet and connect. This meeting is open to graduate students from all disciplines and all degree programs. Both full-time and part-time students are invited to attend.
Per requests from our students who are working full-time, this meeting has been scheduled for 4:30 on a Friday afternoon to accommodate our part-time students.
Any graduate student, regardless of background, who desires support and connections is welcome to attend!
