Relationship Violence Prevention Speaker Series (2/17)

UMBC Violence Prevention Advocates Program: Building a Culture of Awareness and Support for the Prevention of Relationship Violence.

UMBC is fortunate to have received a grant from the Verizon Foundation to raise awareness, educate the campus community on issues related to relationship and dating violence and provide information to members of our community about resources and help.  The Spring Speaker Series is a series of exciting programs with a variety of compelling speakers on topics designed to promote awareness and action.

The first session in the Relationship Violence Prevention Speaker Series is this Thursday, February 17th, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. in UC 312.  David Thomas will be talking about the prevalence of relationship violence on college campuses.
