Dr. Linda Hodges of the UMBC Faculty Development Center will discuss creating a syllabus, time management in the classroom, and planning a semester. This seminar is part of the PROF-it Professors-in-Training series for graduate students. Graduate students who attend at least 3 seminars and participate in the online Blackboard discussions have the opportunity to be nominated for the UMBC/CCBC Teaching Fellows program. This program provides students with an opportunity to independently teach a class at the Community College of Baltimore County, receive a $2000 payment, and have a CCBC faculty mentor. Students can participate regardless of interest in the CCBC program. Students do not have to be TAs to participate.
